The Simeon Centre runs an appointments system. Currently there is no facility to ‘drop-in’ and see a counsellor without making an advance appointment.
We have a range of appointment times to suit most people. The table below shows times when appointments are scheduled.
|9am - 4pm|
|5pm - 7pm|
How long will I have to wait?
The waiting list is managed by 1point - Bolton's Psychological Health and Wellbeing Alliance. Their aim is to offer an initial appointment to everyone within 28 days of receiving a request for support. During busy periods you may have to wait a little longer. As a therapist becomes free we have to match them with a client who is available at that time on the same day each week. In an effort to keep waiting times to a minimum for everyone we offer each client up to 12 sessions with their therapist. Want to see a counsellor sooner than this?
Expanding our service and hours
At the Simeon Centre we’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our service to the community. Each week we schedule around 80 talking therapy sessions and we would like to increase the number of sessions we offer. Find out how you can help us to achieve this.
