The Simeon Centre runs an appointments system. Currently there is no facility to ‘drop-in’ and see a counsellor without making an advance appointment.
We have a range of appointment times to suit most people. The table below shows times when appointments can be made.

The current level of demand is... High
As we do not ask our clients for a fixed weekly fee our service is always in demand. Like many other community counselling services we operate a waiting list. The colour displayed above indicates the current level of demand. Want to see a counsellor sooner than this?
How long will I have to wait?
The waiting times above are only approximate. As a counsellor becomes free we have to match them with a client who is available at that time on the same day each week. The indicator above is only a broad estimate of the waiting time and a counsellor may become available sooner than indicated. In an effort keep waiting times to a minimum for everyone we offer each client up to 12 sessions with their counsellor.
Expanding our service and hours
At the Simeon Centre we’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our service to the community. Each week we schedule around 50 counselling sessions and we would very much like to increase the number of sessions we offer. Find out how you can help us to achieve this.
